Ah, hand studies how I loved to do these when I was younger. I love the detail at the sleeve. I also love how you used a light plane that shifts the paper into colour. A hint of advice, don't be afraid to draw those knuckle lines.

[Abstract painting:Casting Colors]

I was hoping someone would use this art style as a submission. I'm happy to see you did so. Cubism and modern art have a way of telling a story with only basic shapes. I wonder if the video Jazza made inspired you for this :)

Yes, the video made Jazz’s made inspired me to do this piece, I had three or four other paintings I started doing but stopped because it wasn’t speaking to me, so I’m so happy that you enjoyed this painting, I have many more to come!

Thank you! The initial concept was to convey the way music makes me feel, but I shifted towards the end to make it convey loneliness and depression. I went with red because I felt like the theme needed a bit of surrealism! 😄

I love the fantasy vibe in this piece and the use of depth and god there is so much I can point out that I like, like the way the light falls or the bird that seems to watch the person below. GOOD WORK!
